What to expect from stain protection
Check compatibility before application
Tell us the fibre, care label and any existing protective finish. Do not assume a product suitable for one carpet is suitable for a delicate upholstery fabric.
Cleaning and protection are separate decisions
Protection is an optional additional service. We confirm whether the surface needs cleaning first, the areas to be treated and the separate cost before application.
What protection can and cannot do
A suitable treatment may help with handling some spills, but liquids and stains still need prompt appropriate attention. It will not repair existing wear, discolouration or damaged fibres.
Curing and ongoing care
Follow the instructions for the actual product used. Ask when the surface can be used and which cleaning methods are suitable afterwards; reapplication needs depend on use and maintenance.
