Extra tasks, specialist treatments, inaccessible areas and furniture handling must be agreed beforehand. Cleaning cannot repair permanent wear or damage, and results depend on the material and condition.

What to expect from home cleaning
Build the room list before comparing quotes
A bedroom count alone does not explain the work. Tell us the number of bathrooms, kitchen condition and rooms that are furnished or occupied. Point out grease, limescale or areas that need extra attention. We use those details to discuss the time and tasks, rather than promising the same clean for every home.
Agree surfaces and appliance interiors
Discuss kitchen surfaces, bathroom fittings, accessible floors and dusting as individual parts of the scope. Oven interiors, inside cupboards, internal windows and appliance cleaning should be named if you want them included. A whole-home enquiry does not automatically cover every appliance or inaccessible surface.
Carpets and furniture need their own treatment
Vacuuming a fitted carpet is different from professional carpet cleaning. If you want bedrooms, stairs or a sofa treated, add them to the enquiry with photos and care labels. Bedroom carpet cleaning starts from £35 and sofa cleaning from £20 per seat. The final combined price depends on the actual rooms and items.
London flats, keys and working space
For a flat, tell us the floor, lift arrangements, entry system and where equipment can be unloaded. A home near Old Street can have very different access from a house with a driveway. Confirm who will let the cleaner in, any building restrictions and whether there is enough clear space to work.
One off work and future visits
State whether you need a single clean or want to discuss a recurring arrangement. We confirm availability and scope before agreeing dates. For a furnished home, clear small personal items and valuables; ask which furniture can remain in place. Tell us about pets or sensitivities when planning the visit.
How the quotation is agreed
Send your postcode, room list, photos and preferred date. We clarify inclusions and any extra work, then confirm the price before cleaning starts. Home cleaning is quoted for the property; the carpet price guide is not a whole-house cleaning tariff. The quotation should let you compare the same tasks with another quote.
