What needs separate agreement
Cleaning may not reverse fading, dye bleed, fibre wear or damage to the backing. Hand-knotted, silk, viscose and other delicate rugs need specific assessment; do not assume collection or off-site cleaning is included.

What to expect from rug cleaning
Identify the rug before choosing a method
A wool pile, delicate fibre or glued backing can respond differently to moisture and products. Send front, back and label photos, and tell us about colour changes or earlier cleaning.
Rug size and quotation
Measure the length and width, including whether there are fringes. Rug cleaning starts from £45; dimensions, fibre, condition and any specialist work determine the final quotation.
Protecting the floor beneath
Tell us whether the rug sits on wood, laminate, stone or fitted carpet. We agree where cleaning can take place and how the surface below should be protected.
Drying, storage and returning the rug
Follow the drying guidance for the rug and backing. Do not roll or store it while damp. Ask when it can be returned to the floor, especially over moisture-sensitive flooring.
