What hot water extraction does
An extraction process applies a suitable cleaning solution and removes moisture with loosened soil. The temperature and treatment must suit the carpet. The everyday term steam cleaning does not mean every fibre should receive high heat or the same amount of water.
Material checks come before the machine
Share care instructions and point out shrinkage, loose seams, colour bleeding or older treatments. Some constructions need another approach. If drying time is a particular concern, discuss low moisture options without assuming they suit every carpet.
Set up for drying and access
Clear small items, confirm which furniture stays and tell us about stairs, lifts and loading. Leave time for drying before normal traffic returns. We give aftercare based on the room conditions rather than promising an exact drying time for every property.
