What needs separate agreement
Not every fabric is suitable for wet cleaning. Leather, delicate velvet, unstable colours and damaged upholstery need a separate assessment. Internal filling contamination and permanent colour loss may not be resolved by surface cleaning.

What to expect from sofa cleaning
Fabric and care labels come first
Send a readable care-label photo and tell us about removable covers, loose cushions and any previous treatment. The fabric appearance alone does not tell us whether water or a particular product is suitable.
Quoting corner sofas and sofa beds
Include a photo showing the whole sofa and its dimensions or seat count. Mention a chaise, recliner or sofa-bed mattress so the quote can list exactly which parts are included. Starting rates are £20 per seat; fabric and condition can affect the total.
Food marks, pet accidents and odours
Explain the source, age and previous products used. Odours may extend into the cushions or filling. We discuss what the proposed treatment can reasonably reach rather than promising that every smell or stain will disappear.
When can I sit on the sofa again?
Allow the fabric and cushions to dry as advised after cleaning. Ventilation, fabric, filling and weather affect the time. Tell us if this is your only seating so the appointment and drying arrangements can be discussed.
Before the visit
Remove throws and personal items, secure pets away from the working area and provide clear access around the sofa. Do not remove fitted covers or wash them separately unless the care instructions and agreed plan support it.
